Become a Microsoft partner. Get listed where Azure budgets are spent.
Trustem Partner Launch takes South African companies through the whole Microsoft partner route, from AI Cloud Partner Program enrolment and Partner Center verification to a published Microsoft commercial marketplace offer.
The partner route is long, and easy to stall on.
Enrolment, verification, distributor and CSP applications and marketplace publishing are separate steps, each with its own requirements. Miss one and the next one waits.
- Where do we start?
The AI Cloud Partner Program, Partner Center, CSP and the commercial marketplace are related, but they are not one form.
- Verification holds things up
Names that don't match between CIPC and SARS, domain letters and identity checks all hold things up.
- Listed is not the same as buyable
A marketplace offer has to be set up properly before enterprise customers can purchase through it.
One route, five stops. We walk it with you.
-
Enrol in the AI Cloud Partner Program
We prepare your company details and guide your enrolment so you start with the right account.
-
Set up Partner Center
From the tenant check to Partner Center enrolment and your Marketplace publisher profile.
-
Get verified
We help you prepare what verification asks for (email, identity, employment or domain, and business) and respond until it clears.
-
Apply to distributors and CSP
We prepare your distributor packs and Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) applications. Reselling Microsoft cloud services through CSP needs an accepted distributor relationship.
-
Publish on the commercial marketplace
We help you publish your offer on the Microsoft commercial marketplace and, where the offer qualifies, enrol it for the Azure consumption commitment benefit.
Why the marketplace matters: customers can spend committed Azure budget with you.
Enterprises with a Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC) can apply 100% of the pre-tax price of Azure benefit eligible marketplace offers towards it, when bought through the Azure portal.
- An eligible offer lets a customer with a MACC buy your product with budget already committed to Azure.
- Eligibility needs a transactable listing that meets Azure IP co-sell requirements. Free and bring-your-own-licence listings don't qualify.
- Eligibility depends on how the offer is published, which is why we cover publishing as part of the launch.
Source: Microsoft Learn (Azure consumption commitment benefit, MACC FAQ, MACC enrolment). Eligibility is decided by Microsoft for each offer and purchase. Only eligible marketplace purchases count; this does not apply to every purchase or every buyer.

Questions we hear
Who is Trustem Partner Launch for?
South African companies that want to become Microsoft partners, resell Microsoft cloud services through CSP, or sell their own product on the Microsoft commercial marketplace.
What is MACC?
A Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment is an agreement where a customer commits to a level of Azure spend. Eligible "Azure benefit eligible" purchases made through the Microsoft commercial marketplace can count 100% of their pre-tax price toward that commitment, when bought through the Azure portal.
Does every marketplace purchase count toward MACC?
No. Only Azure benefit eligible offers count, which means a transactable offer that meets Azure IP co-sell requirements. Free and bring-your-own-licence offers don't qualify, and CSP private offers don't count. We help you prepare and enrol your offer, but Microsoft decides.
Do government purchases count toward MACC?
Don't assume they do. Government departments buy Microsoft through SITA's framework agreement, which is a separate route, and we make no claim that government purchases count toward a MACC. We'll talk through your situation with you.
Are you part of Microsoft?
No. Trustem Solutions is an independent South African company. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft. We guide you through Microsoft's own programs and processes.
What does it cost?
That depends on where you are on the route and how much of it you need. Get in touch and we will scope it with you.
Who signs and pays?
You do. We prepare everything and send you one clear action card only when it's needed. Your directors keep control of every signature and payment.
Do you guarantee approval?
No. Microsoft and distributors make their own approval decisions. Our team has already taken a South African company through the process, and we bring that experience to yours.
