Privacy notice
Last updated: [date to confirm]. This notice explains how Trustem Solutions ("we") handles personal information collected through this website, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
Who is responsible
Responsible party: Trustem Solutions [registered name and number to confirm], South Africa. Information Officer: [name to confirm], john@trustem.africa, 067 651 3930.
What we collect
When you use the contact form, WhatsApp, phone or email: your name, company, email address, phone number (optional) and your message. Our web host may also keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security.
Why we use it
Only to respond to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to provide the service you ask for. The lawful basis is your consent and steps you ask us to take before a contract. We do not use it for direct marketing unless you separately agree.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. To run this website and reply to you we rely on service providers, such as our web host and email provider, who process it on our behalf. If you choose WhatsApp, your messages are also handled under WhatsApp's own terms. We disclose information to others only where the law requires it.
Where it is stored and for how long
Form messages are delivered to our business email inbox; the website itself does not keep a copy. We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and for [retention period to confirm, e.g. 12 months] if no engagement follows, then delete them.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and restricted access to our inbox.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent, by emailing john@trustem.africa. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa): inforeg.org.za.
Changes
We will post any changes to this notice on this page.
